MISSION & PHILOSOPHY

At Luling Elementary School, we will provide a quality academic, social, and emotional education that empowers all geniuses to be successful by cultivating a safe, positive, and equitable learning environment that establishes a community of love, respect, and achievement.

Luling Elementary School, home of the Tiger Cubs, was originally built in 1957 and serves students on the west bank of St. Charles Parish from Killona to Ama. We strive daily to foster a love and passion for learning in all children by helping them work toward reaching their greatest potential. We support all children by inspiring, empowering, and cultivating the genius within them through participation in numerous academic, social, and afterschool enrichment programs and the arts.

School System Leads Stakeholders on Education Expedition

Internal and external stakeholders participated in the school system’s Education Expedition on Thursday, December 11. Held twice annually, the expedition presents the public with the opportunity to step inside the classroom, gain an understanding of what students experience daily, and travel through the sites a child would attend from kindergarten through graduation. District and school-level administrators were also available throughout the expedition to listen to participants’ feedback.
